Thank You, Thank You, Thank You

Writtenwyrdd (D. Lynn Frazier) has a talent - sheer, unadulterated, nearly omnipotent - for finding sites and information that make me derail my "to-do" list and follow her fun suggestions. Recently she posted about Site Dossier, a program that will tell you what sites link to yours directly.  It's in the Beta Testing Stage, still, and has a few bugs to work out, but is still incredibly fun.

  4. Ell, I think it's pretty dated. It doesn't come up for insearchofgiants.com, just insearchofgiants.blogspot.com, even though I switched a while ago. Weird, huh?

  9. Yes, it must be an old list as Smartlikestreetcar is like that famous parrot in the Monty Python skit...

    Alas, I can't think of a good segue to link that thought to this one: I finished February's Random Complexity Writing Challenge! That I could manage to do so this month suggests that I'm able to write through adversity... But truth to tell, I'd really like to stop honing that skill! :-)

  13. Oh, I was wondering why mine was listed there since I link to your blog but then I link to www.insearchofgiants.com - minus the blogspot.

    What I would like is a service that tells me when blogs link back to me in their specific posts (rather than the blogroll). Wordpress used to do that but now it's a mix of the two and kind of annoying.

  15. Thanks for mentioning my blog. I have frequent bouts of toomuchtimenearinternetitis and thus you reap the benefits.

    Maybe when the beta is the final version all the links will list.
